Welcome to SendBit a product of Techibytes Media. These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") govern your use of the SendBit website or mobile application ("SendBit") as a user. By accessing or using SendBit, you AGREE to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy. Please read these terms carefully before using SendBit. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use SendBit. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SendBit regarding your use of our services.
Eligibility
To use SendBit, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in the jurisdiction where you reside. By accessing or using SendBit, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary legal capacity to agree to these Terms and Conditions and to use SendBit in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, you must not use SendBit.
Services Provided
SendBit is a platform that offers a wide range of financial services, including accepting PayPal payments, purchasing airtime and data bundles, using our virtual cards, and many more. SendBit reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate these services at any time without notice.
PayPal Payments
SendBit provides a seamless way for accepting PayPal payments. Whether you're a freelancer, service provider, or business owner, you can easily receive payments from your clients or customers through PayPal around the globe.
With SendBit,
the sender refers to the individual or entity initiating the payment by sending a bill or payment request to the recipient. On the other hand,
the recipient is the individual or entity receiving the PayPal payment bill from a sender for services rendered.
Sender
- The sender is responsible for providing accurate and complete details of the services to be rendered while sending the bill or payment request to the recipient.
- The sender acknowledges that upon confirmation of the PayPal payment by the recipient, the corresponding Naira amount will be deposited into the sender's Naira wallet.
- The sender understands and agrees that once the PayPal payment is confirmed, further requests for revisions or refunds may not be accepted.
- The sender may in some cases solely responsible for any disputes, claims, or issues arising from the services provided to the recipient.
- The sender has an obligation or responsibility to send the confirmation link to the recipient in case the recipient is unable to access their email address or encounters difficulties in clicking on it.
Recipient
- The recipient acknowledges that upon receiving the bill or PayPal payment request from the sender, they are responsible for confirming the payment by using the provided confirmation code through the confirmation link.
- The recipient acknowledges that the confirmation code is solely accessible through the billed email address, and it must be utilized for confirming the PayPal payment.
- The recipient agrees that once the PayPal payment is confirmed, the corresponding Naira amount will be transferred to the sender's Naira wallet.
- The recipient understands and agrees that confirming the PayPal payment signifies satisfaction with the services provided and confirms that all requested services have been successfully delivered.
- The recipient acknowledges that they have the right to dispute any discrepancies or issues related to the services received directly with the sender, not with SendBit.
- The recipient understands that any disputes, claims, or issues regarding the services provided should be resolved between the sender and the recipient, and SendBit shall not be held liable or responsible for such matters.
- The recipient understands and acknowledges that after 14 hour(s) from the time of initiating the payment, if the payment is not confirmed using the provided confirmation link and the confirmation code sent to the recipient's email address, it will be considered an indication of your IMPLICIT SATISFACTION with the services provided, and the sender will be able to self-confirm the payment. Please note that if the sender has not been with SendBit for at least 5 months and has not performed any PayPal transactions, they will not be able to perform self-confirmation. The confirmation duration is subject to change based on various factors.
- The recipient acknowledges that the confirmation code is strictly confidential and should not be shared with the sender or any unauthorized parties if the recipient is not satisfied with the service delivered. Any sharing of the code, which aims to facilitate the confirmation process, is deemed unacceptable, and the recipient will bear full responsibility for any associated risks and consequences. Please note that the confirmation duration is subject to change based on various factors.
SendBit Virtual Cards
SendBit Virtual Cards ("we," "us," or "our") provides its card services to you ("user," "you," or "your"), subject to the following Terms and Conditions ("T&C"), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. Continued use of the card services constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices. Our Virtual USD Cards are prepaid cards that are accepted by most US merchants where USD card transactions are accepted. These merchants include but are not limited to Meta (Facebook), PayPal, Google, Snap Inc., Canva and more.
Limitations
Our Virtual USD Cards may not be accepted by certain merchants that fall under specific Merchant Category Codes (MCC). The Virtual Cards will be rejected for transactions categorized under the following MCCs:
Money Transfers,
Travel Related Arrangement Services,
Outbound Telemarketing Merchants,
Non-Financial Institutions/Cryptocurrency,
Security Brokers/Dealers,
Dating and Escort Services,
Massage Parlors,
Government-owned Lotteries,
Government-licensed Online Casinos (Online Gambling),
Government-licensed Horse/Dog Racing,
Betting and Online Gambling.

Responsible Use
You are responsible for ensuring that the SendBit Virtual Card is used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that the card is only used at merchants that accept it, as per our guidelines. Using the card at merchants we've listed as limited or restricted by MCCs may result in the transaction being declined.
Declined Transactions
If a transaction is declined, you should first check whether the merchant is one of the restricted categories as per the MCCs listed above or maybe you have an insufficient balance. If a transaction is declined for insufficient balance, we reserve the right to deduct a fee or suspend your SendBit Virtual Card. Repeated attempts to transact with merchants in the restricted categories may be considered a violation of these terms and could result in suspension or termination of your card services.
In the event of suspension due to declined transactions, we will conduct an assessment to determine the cause of the declines and will communicate with you to resolve the issue. Your cooperation with our investigation is paramount to restoring your card service promptly.
Suspension of Card Services
We may suspend the card services for any of the following reasons:
- Insufficient card balance.
- Repeated declined transactions.
- Suspicion of unauthorized or fraudulent use.
- Attempted use with merchants categorized under restricted MCCs.
- Any other breach of these terms and conditions.
If your card service is suspended, we will provide you with notice and an opportunity to explain or rectify the situation. If the issue is resolved satisfactorily, we may reinstate your card services at our discretion.
SendBit Invoicing
SendBit Invoices allow you to create and manage invoices with ease. You can send professional invoices to your clients and keep track of payments with SendBit, ensuring you get paid on time around the globe with different currencies
Invoicing Standards
Invoices generated using our Services must comply with the following standards:
- Accurate and truthful representation of the digital services provided.
- Clear and detailed description of items billed.
- Suspicion of unauthorized or fraudulent use.
- Correct calculation of amounts due, including taxes if applicable.
- Timely issuance and delivery to the recipient.
Chargebacks
We do not allow chargebacks on invoices. Any attempt to initiate a chargeback will be investigated and may result in:
- A permanent ban from our platform.
- Reporting to appropriate authorities.
- Additional penalties as outlined in our policies.
Fraud Prevention
We have a zero-tolerance policy for fraud when create SendBit Invoices. Any fraudulent activity will result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
- Reporting to government authorities.
- Legal action, if necessary.
Verification Process
At SendBit, we take your security and privacy seriously. As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and trustworthy environment for all our customers, we require account verification for our services. During the verification process, you might be asked to upload a clear and legible picture of yourself, provide proof of residency, Government ID and many more information about yourself for verification.
By proceeding with the verification process, you agree to provide us access to the pictures on your BVN or other forms of verification, for the purpose of verification. This is to ensure that the account belongs to you and prevent any unauthorized use of your identity. The verification step helps us confirm that you are the rightful owner of the account, gives you more access to SendBit services and also provides an extra layer of security and peace of mind for both you and the SendBit community.
Rest assured that the pictures you provide will be used exclusively for verification and will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we handle your personal information with the highest level of confidentiality.
SendBit Withdrawal
We strive to provide a seamless and secure withdrawal experience for our customers. Please take note of the following terms and conditions regarding our withdrawal terms:
- SendBit maintains withdrawal limits to ensure a fair and efficient process.
- For PayPal customers, withdrawals are enabled after 4 hour(s) of any successful PayPal transaction, which is subject to change based on various factors.
- The withdrawal amount is dynamic and subject to change based on various factors.
- These withdrawal limits are subject to periodic review and adjustment.
- SendBit limits are in place to maintain the stability and security of our platform.
User Obligations
You agree to use SendBit in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You are solely responsible for your use of SendBit and any information you provide to us.
You agree not to use SendBit for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, or any other criminal activity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password. You agree to notify SendBit immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Customer Service
At SendBit, we strive to provide excellent customer service. Our dedicated support team is available to address your inquiries, provide assistance, and offer guidance. We aim to ensure a positive user experience and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.
Data Security and Privacy

Funds Security

Integration with Third-Party Services

You may not reproduce, distribute, or display any part of the SendBit website or app without the prior written consent of SendBit.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold SendBit, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of your use of SendBit or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SendBit is based. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction in which SendBit is based.
Transaction Confirmation
Upon completion of a payment transaction through SendBit, you will receive a confirmation notification. It is your responsibility to review the transaction details for accuracy. If you notice any discrepancies or unauthorized transactions, you must notify SendBit immediately for resolution.
Payment Disputes and Refunds
In the event of a payment dispute or the need for a refund, you should contact SendBit's customer support. We will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving the dispute or facilitate the refund process. However, SendBit is not responsible for resolving disputes between users or for any financial losses incurred as a result of such disputes.
Financial Regulatory Compliance
SendBit operates in compliance with applicable financial regulations and anti-money laundering laws. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information as requested by SendBit for compliance purposes. SendBit reserves the right to conduct identity verification checks, request additional documentation, and report suspicious activities to relevant authorities, if required by law.
Modifications to Terms and Conditions
SendBit reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the SendBit website or app. Your continued use of SendBit after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SendBit regarding your use of SendBit. These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and SendBit.
